NHL Alumni Pro-Am Draft Night

This year’s draft is taking place on Friday, March 7 at 7pm at the Bayside Rugby Club. It’s a social event where the top fundraising teams get to draft their former NHL hockey player. The event is open to the public — join us as proceeds raised at the bar go to the charities. This year’s draft will be hosted by Global BC’s Mark Madryga.
Mark Madryga
Mark Madryga is Chief Meteorologist at Global BC and at CKNW radio in Vancouver. He has been forecasting weather with Environment Canada and with the media for almost 40 years. Mark has been a fixture of the Global Morning News since 2006, delivering the first weather reports of the day to early viewers. He has resided in the South Surrey / White Rock area since 1998, and has been a supporter of numerous events and charities on the Peninsula since that time.

Participating Vancouver Canucks & NHL Alumni
Each team will draft one NHL or Vancouver Canucks Alumni onto their roster for the weekend. Teams draft in the order of their final fundraising rankings.
